Deme ~~(which rhymes with "team") is a~~(which rhymes with "team") is a free/open source content management
framwork ~~for the~~for the social Web,
licensed under the <a
href="https://github.com/mikemintz/deme/blob/master/deme_django/LICENSE">GNU
Affero
General Public License, version 3</a> and written in
Django/Python with a PostgreSQL database. 
 
The Django version of Deme hosted on
this site supercedes earlier versions that were written in PHP
(versions
0.0.1 through 0.6, 2003-2006) and Ruby on Rails (versions 0.7-0.8,
2006-2008). For information on the earlier versions, see the <a
href="http://groupspace.org">Groupspace.org</a> hosting site.
