Welcome!<br> <br> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Deme </span>(which<span style="font-weight: bold;"> rhymes with "team"</span>) is a<span style="font-weight: bold;"> free/open source content management framwork </span>for the<span style="font-weight: bold;"> social Web</span>, licensed under the <a href="https://github.com/mikemintz/deme/blob/master/deme_django/LICENSE">GNU Affero General Public License, version 3</a> and written in Django/Python and PostgreSQL. <br> <br> <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Django version of Deme supersedes earlier versions</span> that were written in PHP (versions 0.0.1 through 0.6, 2003-2006) and Ruby on Rails (versions 0.7-0.8, 2006-2008).
