Re: Dictionary

Good to see. A few comments:

(1) Can we use Answers.com since it provides a thesaurus and broader
coverage?

(2) I don't think the format line is the best place to put the button. I
like the idea of a button next to the search box for lookup, together with
one for search, with search highlighted and invoked by default. Lookup
could also be a button on top for now, and in the future an option in the
Action menu.

(3) Good that it works on highlighted text. Can a little button for lookup
appear (the information "i" icon would work for this, I think, saving "?"
for help) above the highlight like on the NYTimes website?

(4) Ideally the service to be connected to should be a Deme setting, so
the admin of a site could choose Answers, Apture, or another service and
we are not cutting anyone out.
