Behavior when no from_email_address

What is the expected behavior when there is no from_email_address, or the recipient does not have permission to view it?
1. Treat everything the same, except replace from_email_address with some sentinel noreply@ email address (possibly configurable somewhere).
2. Treat everything the same, except replace from_email_address with the list (subscribed item) address.
3. Treat everything the same, except replace from_email_address with the item (where a comment would reply to) address.
Finally, does it make sense to keep the agent's name here if we can see it but just not the email address, or would we replace it with something like "Deme Notifier"?
